Welcome to Reflections - Unique Portrait Art!
I am proud to announce the opening of my new studio in downtown Wichita Falls. I specializes in large scale, semi abstract, acrylic on canvass portraits. It’s a process I developed from an unlikely source..the mixing palette. One day while working along side my life size replica of Yoda, I noticed the palette and thought “That looks so cool. What if I translated that look onto the canvas?” So over time I fined tuned this technique into his my unique style.
But my affection for the arts doesn’t end with just acrylics. I also have a passion for charcoal, watercolor, chalk pastel and the occasional mix media. I’m also not adverse to trying new things. One of my favorite pieces was made of items I found at a flee market. Also, my geography isn't just limited to Wichita Falls. I also do freelance work in the Dallas / Fort Worth metroplex, Oklahoma City and everything in between.
So how did I get here? After working in advertising for over 20 years in the Dallas/Ft Forth metroplex I decided it was time to say goodbye to the cube farm and return to my first love. So I donated my Dockers to the local Goodwill and opened a studio. I’ll be the first to admit the corporate jungle provided a respectable paycheck and I made a lot of good friends in the process. But for me, rolling a mouse around all day long might be loads of fun for a cat but he’s had my fill.
So when you get a chance, stroll through my website, click on the tabs and take a look at my work. And by all means, feel free to give me a call. Me and Yoda would love to hear from you.
